It was the beginning of 2021. The big hype in the art world!
NFT - «Non-Fungible Tokens».

Upon closer inspection, I realized that there were certain problems. NFTs are a great thing in and of themselves. But are they also ecologically acceptable? Especially in terms of energy consumption?

Depending on which blockchain they are made with, it takes over 300 kWh of electricity to produce an NFT. That's a lot!

So. Do the opposite of the NFT idea?

These projects needed special programs on the web server to enable the desired functions. These are functions that cannot be achieved with standard programs.

I therefore had to get my hands dirty and get back to software development.

In software development, time passes incredibly quickly. There are plenty of updates. They are not only necessary for security reasons.

But how long I can continue to make updates and keep my web server active remains an open question. At some point it will no longer be possible due to a lack of current knowledge and options.

Then this will mean the end of these projects.
